Graduated from Moscow Medical Academy with further specialization in ophtalmology and oculoplastics at Fedorov Scientific Research Center "Micro-surgery of  Eye". Underwent advanced professional training in oculoplastics at Moorfey's Eye Hospital (London), in cataract surgery and laser sugery of retina at King's College Hospital (London). Patented her own innovations in oculoplastics.

Author of scientific works on laser surgery methods for patients with diabetis.

Dr. Bochat is a member of ESRCS (European Society of Refractional and Cataract Surgeons).
